# Purchasing & Logistics Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Driver

We are looking for an Assistant Technician/Fork Lift Truck Driver to join our warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone who already has **practical forklift experience** and a **valid FLT licence** , and is looking to continue developing their skills in a warehouse environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Operating a forklift truck to move, load and unload goods

- Supporting general warehouse duties as required

- Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues

- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and well organised

- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets

- Be computer literate and confident using a range of software applications.

**Safety & Compliance**

- Always follow site safety rules and procedures

- Carry out basic daily checks on the forklift truck

- Report any faults, hazards or near misses

- Use PPE provided and work safely at all times.

**What We’re Looking For**

- A **valid counterbalance forklift licence** (essential)

- Ability to follow instructions and work safely

- Good timekeeping and reliability

- Can work in a team as well as use their own initiative and work solo

- forklift experience is essential
