Purchasing & Logistics Assistant Technician

We are looking for an Assistant Technician/Fork Lift Truck Driver to join our warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone who already has practical forklift experience and a valid FLT licence, and is looking to continue developing their skills in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a forklift truck to move, load and unload goods
Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues
Keeping work areas clean, tidy and well organised
Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Safety & Compliance
Always follow site safety rules and procedures
Carry out basic daily checks on the forklift truck
Report any faults, hazards or near misses
Use PPE provided and work safely at all times
What We’re Looking For
A valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Good timekeeping and reliability
Can work in a team as well as use their own initiative and work solo
forklift experience is essential
